Aditi Veena Gupta

Musician
Wide-eyed and whimsical, Aditi Veena Gupta creates music that is sensitive and intimate. A promising indie-musician, she strums the guitar, can give a trumpeter a run for his money, and has a knack for collecting "ragged instruments--a cajon, marimba, rainmaker, singing bowls", to list a few. This photograph was taken early 2014, when Aditi was about to release her debut EP, Mumblings of the Impressioned Interactions with Four Charming Monsieurs (try saying that in one breath!) on four special men in her life.

Saurabh and Bhanu
Musicians
The duo, Saurabh and Bhanu is known for its experimental-fusion music. Bhanu Sharma is a mesmeric sarod player, while Saurabh Sainani offsets the traditional Indian sound of the sarod with his deft guitar skills. The duo is slowly inching its way into the limelight, reeling in a strong following at the end of every performance. As musicians, they attempt to experiment with myriad genres, picking up cues and influences from Joe Satriani, John Mayer and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.
